Hello my dears!  I am still working out a few kinks in my blog but I am happy everyone is reading and enjoying it.

 

This outfit is what I typically would wear to work. I love the jeans because they fit my derriere well, which is a must for all jeans I own. Jeans are very difficult to find, as we all know, and I need to get some new light ones. I'm obsessed with True Religion but my wallet isn't a fan. The shirt I got from my mother and the neckalce is from a boutique in Barcelona.

Spirit Trip

I'm stuck in the zone where you know you need to get to bed but are not tired. I only worked 2 hours today so I basically had the day off and now it is throwing off my sleeping schedule! But enough rambling.

 

If you've hung out with me in the past few weeks, chances are you've seen me wear this outfit. I scored this shirt from a little boutique in Fayetteville called Savoir-Faire. I love the high-low cut and well as the loose bow. These shorts I got from a thrift store for a costume and now wear them all the time.  The look wouldn't be complete with out my dear Sam Edelman's, which I wear to death.

Just Wanna Have Fun

Of course, the main focus of this outfit is the shoes which I picked up at DSW. I love the neon trend!! It reminds me of the 80's and early 90's, which in turn, makes me happy. This dress is from Pitaya and is super comfy. I kept the jewelry simple so there wasn't too much going on. You can't go wrong with David Yurman.

Down here in Texas, we do wear cowboy boots. It's normal. And these were too cute to pass up! I got them at Cotton Island after eyeing them for two weeks. The statement necklace is Anthropologie and adds a little fun to the dress. Boots also mean fall, which is my favorite fashion season!

Sept. 20th

My dad helped me with this shoot and it took place in his new apartment. It's a very swanky place. Anyway, I got this dress from Forever 21 and I know it's a little late to be wearing it but hey, fall doesn't officially begin for a few more days. I'm always attracted to big prints and bright colors. I'm excited neon has made a leap into fall.

Happiness

As an avid fashionista, I know that New York Fashion Week has been going on these past few days. While I am extremely jealous of those who got to go, I will be in NYC soon so I can't hate. I will be visiting my dear friend Eliza and know the city will have a crazy adventure in store for us.

In other news, fall is defintely in the air with football and fall fashions coming out. I love autumn because it always is a good time of year for me and is filled with great memories.

Show Me Your Teeth

Hello! Sorry I have not blogged for a while. I had to find a photographer. For this outfit, Miss Kayla helped me and was a lovely photographer. I scored these shoes at DSW and they were my birthday present to myself. The dress is about a year old but a stickler in my closet because of the pattern.

Last night, I went to Fashion Night Out in Highland Park Village. OMG! I almost died from a fashion overdose at the Christian Louboutin and Diane von Furstenberg stores. I think I saw a glimpse of fashion heaven. My friends and I enjoyed the free drinks and goodies that were handed out by the stores. Overall, I'd say it was a winner night! Happy Fashion Week to all of those up in NYC! (I am so jealous of you!)
